The Cacao Philosophy
Here at Cacao, we do not breed our animals because we wish to make money off them. Nor do we breed them just to make more pedigreed animals available to the public. We breed our animals because we believe in a set standard for each breed, and we believe in the importance in maintaining that standard and the constant struggle to perfect the breed. We strive for health and vigor, amiable temperaments, and good type in our animals, in that order. Due to our exacting standards, many of the individuals born here are judged to be not fit to be breeding animals. This does not mean these cats are not excellent examples of their breed. Often, other breeders are amazed at the quality of the "pets" we sell, for our "pets" are often on par with others' "show quality" individuals. Rest assured that when you buy from Cacao, you are not just buying a cat, you are buying an individual that has nearly 40 years of dedication to improvement of the breed behind it. We don't just use Grand Champion lines, we own and breed our own Grand Champions.

Persian & Himalayan Kittens

This is a beautiful white female kitten born 5/7/10 and ready to make claim to a new home to call all her own!

This stunning girl is a remarkably rare color - a tortie lynx point and white!!! She is a real sweetie and would make a wonderful addition to any family.

This boy is our adventurer - always first to the food, first to explore new areas, and absolutely fearless when it comes to checking out the canine members of our family. He enjoys watching TV and watching Ken (the man of the house) sleep in his armchair. Please refer to him as "Silver Tabby #1" when inquiring.

This is a blue silver tabby female, sometimes called a "pewter" tabby. What she really is our little snuggle bed buddy. She is smaller than her brothers, but that makes her able to snuggle under the covers that much easier! She also really likes to type on the computer when we aren't around!
