GC RW Cacao Fifth Element
One Show Grand at 8 months of age
|
Elly is a gorgeous pale blue sired by GC Dalu Harbor lights of Cacao. She has huge expressive eyes, doming, and type that made her a judge's favorite! She was shown at the beginning of the 2001-2002 show season for only 3 months (she turned 5 months at the beginning of the season!) and made 44 finals out of 50 rings she was shown in. We are very proud of our little Elly!

GC RW Brannaway Aurora of Cacao, DM
4th Best LH Kitten, Best Bicolor Kitten at the 2001 CFA International Show!!!
|
Aurora was bred and shown by Anna Sadler of Brannaway Persians. When Anna left us in July of 2004, we elected to buy Aurora and a few of Anna's girls in order to always have part of of Anna with us in our home. Aurora DM'd in her first two litters, with all Grand Champions, all sired by GC NW BW Wishstar Triumph, DM. She's truly an amazing female who is staying with us in her retirement.
Aurora is DNA PKD negative.

GC, RW Kittiary Fiesta! of Cacao
A 4 ring (one show!) grand at 8 months of age

Fiesta comes to us from Kittiary. She's truly an amazing tortie! Watching her grow up was such a pleasure, as she really came into her own and became highest scoring kitten show at her last 3 kitten shows. She finished up as 8th best kitten, Best of Breed (Parti-Color Persian) and Best of Color (Tortie Persian) in the Gulf Shore region for the 2004-2005 season. We cannot wait to see what beautiful babies she will make for us!
Fi is DNA PKD negative.

GC, RW Cacao Fire In My Pachette
|
What can we say about Fire? She's been one of the most amazing cats we have shown in a long time. When she was a kitten, Fire seemed awkward and unbalanced. Her low white seemed like it would inhibit her from ever having much of a show career. From the start though, she was a stunning cat to look at. It is difficult to say what captures you first about her - her startling deep, vibrant red patching, her wide open eyes, or her tiny, round ears. When she reached 4 months of age, it was obvious Fire was coming together as a great kitten. However, we made the decision to not run her, because there was too much overlap between her and the kitten that would become GC, RW Cacao Shannon. We did show Fire once as an older kitten once Shannon had completed her kitten career, and she made several finals, including a Best Kitten.
When Fire turned 8 months old, it was finally time for her to shine. She went to her open show to face competition for winner's ribbons - something that we didn't expect! Her competition was a lovely cat, but Fire took all the rings and became a champion. She granded at the age of 8 months, so we decided to show her as a Grand Champion to see how she could do. Of course, another lovely brown patched tabby and white was also being shown as a Grand for a Regional Win! With only 8 shows to go to, it didn't seem Fire had much of a chance to make a Regional Win. But we tried anyway! Fire had great success at 5 of her shows, and she ended up with nearly 2500 points and was the Gulf Shore Region's 17th Best Cat for 2004-2005. All of Fire's shows as a Grand Champion were in the Gulf Shore Region.
Both of Fire's parents are DNA PKD negative.

GC, RW Cacao Shannon

Shannon is a very special kitten from GC, RW Brannaway Aurora, DM. Shannon and her sister, Bridget, were named after the beloved grandaughters of Anna Sadler. We knew it would take a very special girl to replace Aurora when it was time to retire her, and at first, we didn't realize that Shannon would be that kitten. We had not intended originally to keep Shannon, but decided to show her some to see how the judges liked her. She started off her show career fast, achieving two Best Kittens at her first show! Shannon continued to do well at the shows, and finished the show season as the Gulf Shore Region's 6th Best Kitten for 2005-2006. Shannon was shown in the Gulf Shore Region for all but one of her kitten shows, and she made over 2000 points. Her accolades included many Best Kittens and Highest Scoring Kitten in show.
Both of Shannon's parents are DNA PKD negative.

GC Brannaway Betursweetbippy of Cacao
|
We had promised ourselves that the best of the last Brannaway Persians would use Anna Sadler's favorite phrase in their name "You bet your sweet bippy." When Georgia had her babies - the last litter of Brannaway Persians - there was no question who that best kitten was. Time went by, and we really, really tried to NOT get attached to her, as we knew she'd go sometime. When she was 7 months old, Anna's son realized how attached we had become to her and asked us if we wanted to keep her. Our answer was a resounding YES!
Bippy granded quickly, and she had many admirers in the show hall. She was only shown once as a Grand Champion - imagine our suprise when she was also highest scoring cat in show! Bippy's first litter has shown that she will produce babies as lovely as she is, and we look forward to her future here at Cacao.
Bippy is DNA PKD negative.

GC Cedar Rose Goldie Hawn of Cacao
|
Goldie is a very exciting addition to our family. When Carissa first saw pictures of her, she absolutely fell in love. Imagine her delight when Ted and Paulette of Cedar Rose consented to let Goldie come to us! She's a lovely girl, full of sweet spirit and a gentle nature. She has grown into a beautiful cat that we knew she would. Her pedigree combines some really neat lines that we are looking forward to use in our program. Ted and Paulette have a lot to be proud of with their program - Goldie is just one of many gorgeous kittens we have seen from them, and we expect they will be having even more amazing kittens in the future.
Both of Goldie's parents are DNA PKD Negative.

Pointed and CPC Persians

GC, RW Cacao Focal Point
|
"Focal" represents to us the first of a new generation of pointed Persians here at Cacao. We have taken 5 years to carefully plan out breedings to bring together a girl this lovely. She had a wonderful show career as a kitten, including taking many Best Kittens and also Highest Scoring Kitten in Show. She finished the 2005-2006 show season as Gulf Shore Region's 9th Best Kitten. She was shown in the Gulf Shore Region for all but one of her kitten shows.
Focal's parents are both DNA PKD negative.

GC Cacao Gevalia
|
Gevalia is a beautiful blue point girl with a very nice, compact solid body and sweet open type. She didn't do much at the shows at first, but at about 10 months, she started really taking off and granded quickly! She has passed on that wonderful body to her first babies and we look forward to see more babies from her in the future.
Gevalia's parents are both DNA PKD negative.
|

GC Cacao Gloria Jean
|
Gloria is a beautiful seal point girl, littersister to GC Cacao Gevalia. We don't really need both girls in our program, but we wanted Gloria to have a litter or two with us before she was put for sale. She has nice blue eye color and nice head type.
Both of Gloria's parents are DNA PKD Negative.

GC Cacao Pearly White
|
"Pearl" is a lovely tortie point girl who took a while to fill out into her true beauty. She was bred by Rebeckah Altschul. Pearl's first litter by GC Cacao Seabiscuit produced GC, RW Cacao Focal Point.
Pearl is DNA PKD negative.
|

GC Cacao Ruffles
|
Ruffles was a very decent little kitten that we didn't expect to show, so we gave her a cute little name. Boy, did she prove us wrong! She granded in just a few shows, and has a Grand from her first litter already - GC Cacao Unruffled. We are very pleased by the quality and consistancy in her litters, not to mention her excellent mothering ability.
Ruffles is DNA PKD negative.

GC Cacao Jessica
|
Jessica is a lovely true CPC girl sired by GC Cacao Abercrombie. She has such tiny, tiny ears, a full, beautiful coat, and an extremely short, cobby body. Jessica is a favorite of Carissa's, and a very spoiled little tortie!
Jessica is DNA PKD negative.

CH Cacao Primrose
|
Primrose is littermate to GC Cacao Seabiscuit. It seemed quite silly to show her against her very flashy brother, then it was time for her to be bred! If we (and she) get our timing right, we'd like to bring her back out to show for her grand.
Primrose is DNA PKD negative.
